My Blogging Breakdown
Since I'll be using this blog to hold myself accountable to stay on track and make better choices, I figure I need to make a blogging schedule - and keep to it! (Though I won't be too hard on myself if I miss a day or two)... So here's a breakdown of what I'll be doing on the blog:
Sundays - Nothing. It will be my day of rest.
Mondays - Mental Health Mondays! To make sure I stay focused on the positive things, and not let stress bring me down too much, I'll be writing down 3 things I'm thankful for, 3 things I'm looking forward to, and something I did the previous week to take care of my mental health.
Tuesdays - Transformation Tuesday! Yes, I know it's a popular Instagram hashtag, but my plan is for me to see how far I've come with the changes I'm making. So I'll be posting a picture of the past and the present. Even if for the first month or two, it shows what I gained, it's a work in progress, and I can't be too hard on myself.
Wednesdays - Kombucha Of The Week! I'm planning on multiple flavors, so I'll be posting the batch that I'm brewing, and what flavor(s) it'll be, and if the previous week's turned out alright! The ones that work will have recipes posted. The ones that don't? Well, I'll let you know!
Thursdays - Music Time! Since I'm a musician (as well as my husband), Thursdays will be dedicated to new music I'm working on. I don't take as much time as I should to play for my own enjoyment, so I'll be setting aside the time for that
Fridays - Fitness Fridays! I'll be blogging about the workouts I'm doing to get back in shape. Whether I went for a walk or a run, did yoga, went to the fitness center at the apartment, or even just did squats at home all week, I'm hoding myself accountable on Fridays to report what I did!
Saturdays - In The Kitchen! Since I'm changing my diet to be less eating out and more eating REAL food, I'll be posting recipes! Sometimes it will be a breakfast thing, sometimes even dessert! My goal for this is for it to be healthy. So no processed sugar, low carb, higher fat, and higher protein. I think the husband will be happy that I'm cooking more too!
